PanePilot

The window-cleaning round, start to finish.

Quote per pane, book the recurring visits, work each one from your phone, then invoice it and pay whoever did the job.

How a visit goes

Four stops, from the first quote to the money landing.

  1. A per-pane quote: 18 standard panes for $81.00 and 6 large panes with a 20% Ladder surcharge for $43.20, $124.20 in total.

    Quote per pane

Build it from your price book, with your own surcharges like Ladder or Roof. An accepted quote sets the price for the visits that follow.

  2. The visits come round

Set each schedule once: fortnightly, every 4 weeks, monthly. A street of shops can share one run.

  3. A visit's time card: finished at 8:41 am, with all three checklist items ticked.

Do the visit from your phone

The visit card has the address, the access notes, the checklist and your start and finish times.

  4. An invoice marked paid, with a $124.20 bank transfer recorded under Payments.Sam Sample's time approved: 1 hour 15 minutes on a 9:30 to 10:45 am visit, $40.00 at $32.00 an hour.

    Invoice it, pay the crew

Send the invoice by email or SMS, record the transfer or the cash, then approve each worker's time.

Built on our own round

We clean windows in South Australia's Clare Valley, and I built PanePilot to run our round. It quotes per pane because that's how we price. It runs from a phone because that's where we are when the visit's done. It pays our workers for the time they log, because that's how we pay them.

Each business sees only its own customers, prices and money.

Also in the works

Four games, all at the prototype stage.

Hi, I'm Grant.

I make games and apps as Walking Kangaroo. There are four games and one app on the go, and none of them are out yet. This site shows how far along each one is, and there's a devlog too.
